Privacy Policy

Wurdzy is a free word game that runs entirely in your browser. We built it to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.

What stays on your device

To remember your progress, Wurdzy saves the following in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, and we can't see it:

• your ladders in progress and finished puzzles;
• your streaks and statistics (solves, moves, times and scores);
• your settings, such as theme, sound and reduced motion.

Wurdzy also stores its own files in your browser's cache so the game loads quickly and works offline.

What we don't collect

• No names, email addresses or passwords — there's nothing to sign up for.
• No advertising or cross-site tracking.
• No analytics service: Wurdzy does not send your gameplay to us or to third parties.
• Fonts and icons are served from wurdzy.com itself, not from third-party font services.

Hosting

Like any website, the servers that deliver Wurdzy receive standard technical information with each request, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to send you the page and protect the service from abuse. This is handled by our hosting provider and is not combined with your game data, which stays on your device.

Sharing your results

When you tap Share, Wurdzy creates a short, spoiler-free summary and hands it to your device's share sheet or clipboard. Nothing is shared unless you choose to send it.

Deleting your data

You can erase everything at any time from Settings → Reset all data, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. You can always return to today's Wurdzy puzzle or read about Wurdzy.
